Danisha Brown started “Poppy Seeds” also called “Swim With Poppies” in December 2011 after graduating from the Art Institutes with a BS in Fashion Design. She had a love for lingerie and was urged by a co-worker with a background in swimwear to try designing swimsuits.

The brand embodies color, print, and a refreshing point-of-view in a crowded swimwear market. Swim With Poppies has since sold internationally and domestically in the U.S. using high-quality materials while maintaining the forgotten artistry of crafting intuitive swimwear that fits an array of body types.
